The company Martin Aircraft from New Zealand plans to start the sales of individual flying devices Martin Jetpack. The "flying sack" will cost 100 thousand USD.

The flying device Martin Jetpack was invented by the company's founder Glenn Martin in 2008. Its speed is 100 km/hr and it can raise a man 2,5 km high. The device works on gasoline.

The device has been developed for 25 years. The developers hope that it will be interesting not only for individuals, but also for army and rescue services.

It is planned to open parrots' zoo in Pardubitse which is known for its cakes and horse-races. The unique zoo could be used for breeding rare species of parrots and as an asylym for homeless birds. The visitors can take part in their feeding and take the birds. The first parrots' zoo was opened this year in Boshovitse (Czech Republic).

The authorities of Thailand opened the famous elephants' park in ancient capital Ayutthaye that was closed in September because of the floods.

This tuesday the park began working and provided the guests with the posibility to ride elephants and watch the ruins of royal temples.
 
In the park the elephants are taught elephants' martial arts and circus art that are demanded in cinema. There is also art school where elephants learn to paint with paintbrush in their trunks.

The scientists from the USA and Argentina have found petrified remains of a petrified mammal that reminds a cartoon saber-tooth squirrel from Ice Age.And this is the saber-tooth squirrel Cronopio dentiacutus.

The fangs of  Cronopio dentiacutus are several times longer than other teeth of the animal and than fangs of other ancient mammals.

The paleontologists think that the animal lived in comfortable tropical forests nearly 94 mln years ago.

The fragments of kitchen where food for "superior management" of Maya empire was cooked was found in Mexican state Merida. According to thr report of National History and antropology institute nothing like this was found before.

During the exploration the archaeologists found the fragments of two stone "ovens" made by Maya in 750-950. The ovens were used for preparing the meat of large animals.

At the territory of archaeological centre Caba (the south-east of Yukatan island) about 60 thousand fragments of caremics were found.

The highest fur-tree made from Lego details was installed on Thursday at London railway station Saint-Pankrace.

The tree is 12,2 meters high was made from 600 thousand "bricks" of LEGO and 172 plastic branches. The tree is decorated by 1200 balls also made of LEGO details.

The Irish Stonehenge includes 39 stone columns 4,5-meters high with 30-meters diameter.The construction has been prepared for 6 months and constructed for two weekends. The purpose and meaning of this building is unknown as of ancient Stonehenge, too.

The construction of ice hotel started in Romania at Balea lake. The hotel will be constructed from 2000 ice blocks and will be opened on December 25. If the temperature will be below zero the hotel will accept first guests by Christmas.
